SweepSpot doesn't have accounts, doesn't run a backend server, and doesn't collect, store, or sell your personal information. This page explains exactly what does happen with your data.

Location

SweepSpot uses your device's location — or an address you type in — to show street sweeping schedules for that spot. Street sweeping schedule data ships bundled inside the app itself; looking up a schedule never leaves your device.

If you search by address, that query is sent to our map provider, Mapbox, to resolve it and to load map tiles. SweepSpot has no server of its own that sees or stores this — see Mapbox's privacy policy for how they handle it.

Notifications

If you turn on "move your car" reminders, the reminder is scheduled locally on your device using iOS/Android's own notification system. SweepSpot never sends push notifications and has no notification server.

What's stored, and where

Your reminder-timing preference (how many minutes before a sweep to notify you) is saved only in the app's local storage on your device. It's never transmitted anywhere and is deleted if you uninstall the app.

Analytics, ads, and tracking

None. SweepSpot doesn't include any analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

Third parties

The only third party involved is Mapbox, used for map tiles and address search as described above.

Children's privacy

SweepSpot doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it doesn't collect personal information from any user.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
